My photos aren't importing to lightroom

Hi,

My lightroom is being glitchy. It's not importing the photos I ask it to.

On last import it did less than half the images I selected. And now I can't add anymore.

I would be extremely grateful for any help.

Hey, @hannahl42264016. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

What version of Lightroom and the operating system are you working on?? Where are you importing from? If you're using Lightroom, or Lightroom Classic on desktop, are you using a USB hub?

Please move the images to the internal drive and check if they appear as expected when you import.

Also, if you're on macOS, ensure Lightroom has the required permissions on the macOS: https://adobe.ly/43zB3AJ
