NAS drive not appearing

Question

Recently have noticed that when I am importing images from SD card to desktop PC it comes up with message "the destination folder NAS drive is unavailable, using Pictures folder instead". Why is this as it used to work? Why does it not work now? I have a NAS Synology drive that I store everything on.

Hey, @mariajen393. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

What version of Lightroom Classic are you working on? Has this started to happen since a recent version of Windows or NAS firmware?

If you own and manage the NAS alone, try setting it up again with the OS from scratch and see if that helps. Also, if you're using an import preset, try recreating it after you've set up the NAS again.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
