need help lost my import folders

I was deleting a a "dup" folder and lost them . need to find some that can "recover" . Live in the Temecula area in Ca.

What do you mean by a .dup folder? What version of Lightroom are you using? You posted in the Lightroom forum and Lightroom does not have folders. Maybe you are using Lightroom Classic, not Lightroom. Can you provide more details?
