New camera and importing to Lrc

Hi- I need to import pictures from a new camera that I did not use before with Lrc. Do I need to make any changes before I start importing to my computer ? Thanks so much !

If "Chrome" is your OS, then I suggest you don't have LrC (Lightroom-Classic).

However, with 'New' cameras released to market, Adobe often needs to update Lightroom to be compatible. Check for your camera and required Lightroom version here-

! SUPPORTED CAMERAS

If your camera is compatible with your 'Lightroom' version, then "make any changes"- No.

But you may want to use different Profiles or Develop adjustments, etc.
