I already knew the Enhance feaure from Photoshop and it is now available in LR 2021 as well. So I gave it a try and although it works in itself, there are some basic issues i.m.o.It copies the image which is enhancedit forgets all edits made and starts with the basic imageit forgets all metadata, in particular the capture date and imports it as a new image with today's dateWhy not enhance "in place", or at least keep all the previous edits and metadata ?

It copies the image which is enhanced

Why not enhance "in place", or at least keep all the previous edits and metadata ?
