Just to be clear, for what I understand in what you wrote, is that the old versions of Lightroom were better than the new version. Herein lies the confusion. Lightroom what you know is now Lightroom Classic and Lightroom is the new version which was Lightroom Mobile. Mobile meaning cloud-based. Lightroom Classic, desktop-based which the 'old' users are used to, and the 'modern users' being cloud-centric, as everything these days is in 'the cloud'.

The naming convention needs work!

Maybe you need Lightroom Classic and have installed Lightroom by mistake. Lightroom is a new cloud version.

Hi there,

Sorry that you're facing issues while using Lightroom as you don't like the app UI and the performance of the app.

Would you mind sharing more details around what is happening when you try to use the app? Are you getting any error message? When does Lightroom performs unexpectedly?

Also, which version of Lightroom are you using and on which operating system?

Thanks,

Akash
