New lightroom update is pretty much useless

Question

The newest update to lightroom has really dropped the ball, images wont delete when I try to delete them, sometimes when I start the program none of my photos are there and the program just runs really slow in general. Lightroom is my only editing software and with it running as badly as it is is a serious problem for me, any tips?

What version of Lightroom (there are many and they are not the same) and what version of your operating system. Lightroom Cloudy(Adobe calls it desktop) is really dependent on there being a strong internet connection. How good is your internet connection. Lightroom Classic does not have this limitation.
