New phone edits

I recently got a new phone and i was editing pictures on my old phone right before i got a new one. I started editing some more of those pictures on my new phone and noticed that no matter what I do they look totally different. The only difference I am confused about is my color temperature being set to 5900k and the profile filter is "adobe color" on the photo i edited on my old phone because they are not popping up when i try to edit on my new phone. My color temperature is just normal numbers 1-100 and I dont have the abobe color option on profiles though it is saved in my favorites. I need help ASAP

Almost certainly the difference is due to the fact that your were editing raw files on the old phone, but on the new phone you are editing a non-raw file. Non-raw files can't use Adobe Color and the color temperature uses a 1-100 scale.

Can you post a screenshot of the image when viewing the Info panel opened. Use the "Insert Photo" option when doing your reply so that the image is displayed in the reply, not as an attachment.

Hi @jalona_9020

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how confusing this can be. Based on what you’ve described, this doesn’t appear to be expected behavior and may be related to differences between the two devices or how the edits/settings are being synced.

To help us narrow this down, could you please share the following details:

  • Old phone model and iOS version

  • New phone model and iOS version

  • Lightroom app version installed on both devices

  • Please also confirm whether the screenshot you shared was taken while editing the same image on both devices.

A couple of things to note in the meantime:

  • In Lightroom Mobile, seeing Kelvin values (e.g. 5900K) versus a slider-based temperature (1–100) usually indicates a difference in file type (RAW vs JPG/HEIC) or how the app/device is handling the file.

  • The Adobe Color profile should be available for supported file types. If it’s missing on the new phone, it could point to a sync issue, file format difference, or app/version mismatch.

Once you share the above details and screenshots, we’ll be able to pinpoint what’s happening and guide you on how to achieve consistent results across both phones.

Looking forward to your update.

Regards,

Srishti

hi thanks for getting back to me! Both screenshots were taken from my new phone but the top photo was the one i edited off my old phone and the bottom one is when i tried editing off my new phone. They are all raw images.
