New version of LR saving problems

In the current version of Lightroom I am unable to work with a Lightroom photo in Photoshop and then save it back to Photoshop. It wants to save the edited pictures and temporary files. I have been in contact with Lightroom service support five times and have spent hours with them and they have no clue at all how to fix it. I am using an iMac 27 inch with the current versions of Apple software if anybody can help me, please let me know.

    Can you explain what you mean? Photoshop is supposed to save the edited picture (in Tif format if using the Lightroom desktop app), so does that happen? Or were you expecting something different to happen?
