New workflow

  I subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud and use LR Classic and PS to process directly downloaded Canon raw files. I plan on getting a Pixel 3 and wonder about tthe best workflow.  I assume that it will involve installing LR on the phone and then uploading the resulting DNG's and jpegs to the cloud and then back to my Classic catalog in my laptop.

   Is it necessary to use the Adobe app to control phone settings?

   What are the wrinkles to the process, and where may I read more?  Thanks
