Lightroom for iPad 8.3.1

iPad OS Version 16

ipad 8

Hello,

i have a Nikon Zfc with which I shoot in RAW format.

i have imported my shots on the iPad using SnapBridge but when I try to edit the picture on Lightroom for iPad, they are all in Black&white. No problems with jpeg format. No problem with editing on iPhone.

the problem seems to be related only to the iPad version.

did anyone experience this?

is there any fix?

You're probably applying a preset to the raw images by default. Check in app settings->Import what it says for raw import. You typically want to see Adobe Default, or Camera Settings there. You definitely do not want a preset to show there. To fix already imported images, just apply a normal preset such as adobe default to them.

Hi Jao,

thanks for your reply.

as you can see in the screenshot I am not applying any presets. Any other suggestion?

Since you have set it to camera settings (a good idea in general), that would then suggest you are shooting in black and white more in camera. Otherwise it should not do this. If these are raw images, the black and white mode in camera simply sets a flag that tells your Lightroom installation to interpret the raw data in black and white. You can try "adobe default" here or go to an image in Lightroom and select a different camera profile.
