Question

Cerrar y volver a iniciar sesión.

Muc

has gracias.

Hi @Jp_Diseños18, Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Lightroom Community Forum! Your Galaxy A55 fully meets the hardware requirements for AI masking, so this isn't a device limitation.

    Try this:

    • Connect to a strong, stable Wi-Fi network (not mobile data or hotspot)
    • Go to Device Settings > Apps > Lightroom > Storage and tap Clear Cache (not "Clear Data")
    • Open Lightroom and leave it open for a few minutes on Wi-Fi — this allows the AI models to re-download in the background
    • Try "Select Subject" again on a photo with a clearly visible person

If that doesn't work: Test the same photo on Lightroom Web to confirm whether the issue is device-specific.

Did this start after updating to Android 16? That info would help narrow things down. Let us know how it goes! ^CH
