Question

Not edited filter and AI denoise

I am filtering my album for 'Not edited" photos so I can know where to resume work. I have noticed that when I apply AI denoise, the current picture disappears and the next photo in album is loaded. I can no longer go back to editing the photo that underwent denoising while the 'not edited' filter is applied. I would expect to stay on the current photo until I manually move on to the next photo. I do not think this is intended behaviour.

Hey @michałb88403397

It sounds like the behavior is as expected because the photo was edited and no longer fits the "Not Edited" criteria for the filter. Please let me know if I misunderstood your post. Moving post to discussions.

I can apply different edits to a photo and not have it 'disappear' while I
am doing edits.
As soon as I start AI denoise, it disappears from the current view and I
cannot apply further edits until I find the photo with the filter disabled.
For example I can adjust exposure and then do colors, regular denoise etc
and the photo is "edited", but does not disappear immediately. It will not
show up in the filtered search, but again, it does not disappear. That is
what I would expect to happen with AI denoise as well.

Hey, @michałb88403397. Thanks for sharing the details.

I've tried to recreate this on macOS and Windows within a collection, with and without a stack, and it behaved as expected.

Please share a short video of what you see in Lightroom.

Thanks!
