"Not enough free space available" when using new hard drives

Question

I am currently trying to setup a new desktop with a new NAS and download lightroom. It is asking to download all photos, I have 2.3tb of photos. I am trying to pick a folder in my newly setup NAS and it currently is saying "Not enough free space available" even though there is 21TB of storage. How can I best get lightroom to recognize the space available?

Hey, @Stephen28308148cdig. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Before troubleshooting, I'll recommend you to follow the series of steps to make sure:
1 - The drive is correctly mapped in Windows.
2 - The NAS is set up correctly as per the manufacturer's setup guide.
