Not seeing edits in Lightroom after editing in Photoshop

I am working with RAW files in lightroom. On the menu bar on the right I choose, " . . . " and then "edit in Photoshop." The image open in PS and I do what needs to be done, then save. Sometimes my saved image will eventually show up in LR as it was edited in PS, but most of the time LR does not show any of the changes made in PS. How can I make the changes done in PS automatically show up in LR once I am done editing? Thank you!
