Nothing happens when I import preset .zip file

I have the new version of Lightroom CC.  I am trying to import two preset .zip files I purchased from VSCO.  I click on the "..." in the Presets module, then "Import Presets...," and then I select the .zip file of the presets.

For a second or two, "Loading new presets..." appears.

Then it disappears, and nothing changes.  I still see the presets that came with Lightroom, and I don't see the new presets from VSCO listed.  According to the VSCO website, they should show up in labeled folders (VSCO Film for Adobe Lightroom CC, 6, 5 & 4: Where is my VSCO Film? – The VSCO Help Center), but they're not showing up!

Are the unzipped files .xmp files or .lrtemplate files (they should be for Lightroom CC)? I just tried with a preset zip file I downloaded from the web and Lightroom CC imports the zip file directly and adds the presets so apparently you don't even have to unzip the file. So what are the contents of the zip file after unzipping? Did you update Lightroom CC to the latest version?

Ah, this helped me.  The contents of the .zip are some proprietary VSCO installer, which you can run and it installs with presets to Lightroom for you.  Didn't realize that until I tried to answer your question.  Thanks!

You probably need to unpack the zip file first. On most computers you can just double click it to do that.

I tried that -- but Lightroom won't even let me select the unzipped file when I go to import.
