October 2023 upgrade and landscape photos not uploading

Back in October, after a lot of back and forth discussing the issue, the conclusion was that the new upgrade made LIghroom unable to upload photos from the iPhone taken in landscape mode.   I reverted to the previous version so that I can still upload all my photos, and so far I've been scared to download the newest upgrade.   Anybody knows if that issue has been dealt with and resolved?  Is it safe to upgrade to the latest version?
