Online albums have disappeared at https://lightroom.adobe.com/

I am using an older (but reliable) Mccbook Pro running OS 10.13.6 which means I have an older version of Lightroom Classic on there (which I understand is no longer supported (6), but it had worked). I use a personal profile.

I use https://lightroom.adobe.com/ to share albums with clients for selection. I upload images to an album I have created for that client so I can share a gallery with them for surther selection. I have never syncced between LR desktop and cloud as I have never found the UX very straightforward.

When I log in today all of the past albums have disappeared and it's like I am logging in for the first time to an empty workspace .

I have seen similar posts on this matter, but none of the responses have been able to answer my question.

It seems like everything has been wiped from myhttps://lightroom.adobe.com/ account. Where have my albums gone?

Thanks Rikk. When you say residual, can you explain what you mean?

My workflow had been to edit the raw images  LR desktop, rename and export them to lo res jpg and then upload them directly to an album in LR cloud, share the link with the client for them to review.

There was no direct connection of the image file between LR desktop and LR cloud. So I don't understand how activity in my desktop LR, or that version could have any bearing on my LR cloud.

Residual: Lightroom Classic 6 reached "end of support". Syncing was no longer available. The online component for that license was no longer available, and the account was likely purged after a period of time.  Regardless of whether you synced Lightroom with the cloud or not, access to the Lightroom cloud is controlled by your licenses' entitlement.  Lacking entitlement, access to Lightroom Web was no longer possible and the account would eventually be cleared.

Hi. I missed paying my bill in time ( talking about a week's delay )  and when I opened my Lightroom account again after paying, there was nothing but emptiness where there should have been several albums. How is this possible? Did all my work get erased because my payment was delayed? It's not fun to discover. Any explanation for this? Can it be that I have had my account connected to my second email address and now mistakenly restarted with my alternate email? How can I check this?

Thank you Rikk. I checked the link which refers to the desktop version of LR (which I had known about). The issue I have have is with the online LR space https://lightroom.adobe.com/

The cloud version is not version specific I thought?

(So should not be affected by LR 6 no longer being supported I would expect, but perhaps that's not the case?)

(I have no direct syncing set between desktop LR and cloud LR. I treated them as seperate spaces.)

I looked at your subscribed account and saw that you currently have .003 GB/100GB of online material stored.

If you had items stored previously, were they stored under a different Adobe ID?  Did you have a period of idle time, lasting over a year,  where you were inactive and unsubscribed? If so, older material from your Lightroom Classic 6 days may no longer be available.
