Opening image from Light Room and go to edit in Photo Shop "error"

Hello I am new to Adobe Lr and Ps. I am learning from a book and tutorials as I come across them. I was doing a tutorial today that involved opening an image in Lr doing a couple small edits there and then weent to open the jpeg image to Ps from the commaand edit in Photo Shop.

Everytime I try it it starts the process and gets about halfway in thee progress bar and then stops, after another minute or so I get an error message in Lr that says it could not open image in Ps

I am running Windows 10 and both version of the software are up to date.

Please help so I can get back to learning all I can and get this feture working so I can edit in tiff and safe original and edited stacked versions of the image.

I hate having issues on brand new software.
