OTG cable purchased but still cant upload RAW files to camera roll

I have a Canon 90d camera and cant upload my raw files to Mobile Lightroom. I purchased mobile lightroom as it said you could upload RAW files via an OTG cable to your mobile. I can now see the files but they wont upload to my camera roll and therefore I cant get them into mobile lightroom... Very frustrating
