P: How to clear my Adobe storage on an expired account?

I don't have an active account any more but I'd like to delete my catalog (so that Adobe can't use them for any AI training).  How can I delete my catalog without an active account?

For those with Expired Accounts who wish to delete their online content, we are working on a permanent solution.

Until then, you may request a 30 day extension that may be used to enable your expired account and allow you to perform the content removal.

Hi Rikk,

i'm facing the same issue, and have explored countless forums. I even deleted all my lightroom photos from the lightroom web section of the mobile app and the deleted folder and the storage has still not changed. Are you able to please temporarily extend my lightroom subscription so I can log in and remove the files please?
Thanks,

Olivier

Please see my comment below -- you can delete your Lightroom Library without having a current subscription by logging into the lightroom.adobe.com, accessing Account Info, and selecting Delete Lightroom Library.  When this thread was started, we did not support that, but we do now.

@Aris27803721u9ua We've added one month to your expired account so that you can go in and delete the images. Let us know if you run into any trouble.

Are you able to log in to https://lightroom.adobe.com/ ?

That is where you should be able to access your files. This may also help you access and delete your files: Creative Cloud file storage and quota (adobe.com)

If logging in to the LrWeb application at lightroom.adobe.com (as per the @Chris 486 suggestion) doesn't work, you should still be able to launch the Lightroom desktop app on either your Mac or Windows systems, see here: https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

You should certainly be able to download your images from the cloud, but perhaps you can also delete them as well.

Of course, if you terminated your subscription more than 12 months ago, all your cloud content should have been removed already.

I found the following post helpful, but doesn't help in my case:

There's no way for me to delete the content since my subscription is expired.  When I login to the regular website, it also shows no files.  No files in Creative Cloud either.  Can't contact support since I have no subscription.

And here's the kicker, I canceled my subscription more than 6 months ago, so this isn't a "wait 30 days" thing for it to automaticly delete itself.  Lightroom Downloader shows 2,000 files (though I already have them backed up, so

Can't edit the post? A bit silly.  Meant to say at the end:

How do I get those files to delete themselves?

Agreed that we need to change this behavior.  For now, I've given you a complementary subscription for 1 month on Lightroom Web so you can go ahead and delete.  Let us know if you run into any issues.
