P: iPhone 15 Vignetting issue

When I import a true RAW file (taken from any of the top 3rd party camera apps) from the new iPhone 15 Pro Max, a light streak is added to the image. It happens when I use the 5X lens and there's side-lighting in the scene. Attached are before and after expamples. This happens in Lightroom and Photoshop, not in other non-Adobe apps.

I have seen the light streak behavior from day one of receiving the new iPhone 15 Pro Max and using Lightroom mobile to take photos with the 5x lens.

This behavior consistently occurs regardless of the direction of the light in the scene.

This behavior does NOT occur with another 3rd party app (Halide).

Image #1 - After snapping a photo with the 5x lens in LR Mobile, the preview image looks normal.
Image #2 - Upon opening the image after capture in LR, the image has the light streak.

Thanks @hellsdays

Great catch, and you are right.  I moved your excellent original post and details to the proper thread.  The bug logged for this is also forwarded to Apple, awaiting a platform fix.

This issue appears not only when importing RAWs from 3rd party camera apps. I have the same issue with pictures that were taken using Lightroom Mobile camera.

I've reported the issue but right after that I found this topic. Hope Adobe fixes this soon.

I switched my iPhone 13 Pro to 15 Pro Max a few days ago. When I tried to take a picture using camera built in Lightroom app, I realized that every single picture made with that camera has two vertical lines on it.

One dark on the left edge, and one bright that is on the right side (check the attachments). The first thought was that I have some kind of camera bug on my iPhone. But then I tried the default camera app, and there is no any sign of those vertical lines.

Also I asked my girlfriend to take similar pictures with Lightroom camera and default iPhone camera on her 15 Pro max. She had the same results. The lines were on the same places on each pocture.

I didn't have anything like this on my old 13 Pro. So it seems that there is a bug or some kind of incompatibility. It would be great if Adobe fixed this issue with next Lightroom app update.

There is a few pictures in the attachments. Three of them I took on a beach, and other six were taken during my small test at home, so you could see the difference between two cameras, Lightroom and default iOS camera app.

- The pictures with the vertical lines - Lightroom camera.

- Three normal pictures - default iOS camera app

The light streak is happening in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. I'm not sure about Lightroom Mobile.

Do you mean Lightroom mobile? I can move this to the right forum if so?
