Yesterday it started with Lightroom for ios on ipad showing error “image missing” with error code t20200914 “too many levels of symbolic links code 62”. Then tried accessing via web on lightroom.adobe.com which initially showed photos but not that specific photo with error “proxy image missing”. Now on lightroom.adobe.com not only those images, but the whole album is just empty screen, as well as many other older albums as well as the “All Photos” on top, even though it shows 19k photos there, clicking on it opens an empty screen.

Please fix, the whole point of using cloud was because could trust that it is going to be reliable, that confidence is now being severely tested.

    Hello @Kse37422306rbxm

I believe this came up within the LR iOS team this week as a new bug seen on the iOS 27 Beta.  Am I right that you are running that beta OS.

I believe a fix is already identified, and is scheduled to release in future app update.  I can’t confirm exactly when, unfortuantely.

Using beta system software can cause all kinds of unexpected behavior. Adobe does test this too, but the current versions are simply not supported on iOS27. See also

This seems to have resolved the original issue. Another issue I’ve notice on ios27, and still existing on the latest update, is that when opening an imported (from iPhone 17Pro) and attempting to apply an Adaptive Color or Adaptive B&W profile the app crashes. All other profiles seem to be applicable with no issue. I’ve observed this with images from the native camera app as well as from Halide

    Hello All

This should be fixed in today’s app update.  Please find and open the Lightroom app listing to see the update option.

Hey, @human.zip. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I’ll help you figure this out.

Are you working on a iOS 27.1 (beta) as reported here:

If not, please provide more info about the specific device you’re working on.

    Thanks!

Hey, @MarkusHeinzelmann. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Troubleshooting on a beta operating system might not yield desirable results. Please wait for the general/public release of iPadOS 27 before Lightroom is supported. If possible, roll back to the currently available public release of iPadOS 26 to continue using Lightroom.

    Tldr: Beta OS isn't supported.

    Thanks!

    Environment:

    • Lightroom for iPad 11.3.3
    • iPad Pro 11-inch (M4)
    • iPadOS 27 Beta 1 (24A5355q)

    Problem:
All cloud-synchronized photos fail to display and open on the iPad.

    Symptoms:

    • Albums synchronize correctly.
    • Image counts synchronize correctly.
    • Existing cloud photos appear only as gray placeholders.
    • Opening any cloud photo results in error code T20200914 after approximately 2 seconds.
    • Lightroom Web works correctly on the same iPad.
    • Lightroom on iPhone and Mac works correctly with the same Adobe account.
    • New photos imported directly on the iPad display correctly and upload successfully to Adobe Cloud.

    Additional verification:
A new album and image were created on an iPhone after the issue started.
The album synchronizes to the iPad.
The image appears only as a placeholder and cannot be opened.
    Error T20200914 is displayed.

    Troubleshooting completed:

    • Sign out/in
    • Clear cache
    • Reinstall Lightroom
    • Restart device

    Conclusion:
    Cloud synchronization itself is functional.
The issue affects downloading or rendering cloud image data on iPadOS 27 Beta 1.
