P: Why Did My Lightroom Community Post Disappear?

Hello,

 

I recently uploaded a photo to the Lightroom Community and shared it publicly. However, I noticed that the post has now disappeared from my profile. I did not delete it myself.

 

Can someone please explain why this happened? Was it removed for a specific reason, or is this a technical issue?

What is your username for the community? I couldn't find your profile with the username you've used here.

We looked into this situation and see that your images were mistakenly miscategorized.

Today I tried sharing 3 separate photos. Each one was removed and I received emails saying that they violated community guidelines. I disputed all of them and two were put back. As of right now I am waiting to see what happens with the third. But here's the thing. None of them violated any of the community guidelines. There was no reason for this to happen. I never received any explanation for why any of this happened. Just another email and poof, there were my photos again, as if nothing had happened. As a result of this nonsense, I removed all of my photos and will be shopping around for new editing software for my photography. I have been paying for a subscription to the photography plan for years and love Lightroom, but this has gone beyond ridiculous. I'm done.

My name is Valentino MC in the Lightroom Community

 

I recently uploaded a photo to share publicly, but I noticed something unusual. After posting, my image disappears from my profile within about one minute. Then, after a while, it shows up again, only to disappear later.

 

At first, I thought I may have violated a community guideline, but I haven’t received any moderation notice or warning. Given this pattern of disappearing and reappearing, I believe this may be a bug or a syncing issue.

 

Could you please check if there’s a problem with my account or with the Lightroom Community platform?
