When I save a comminity preset, then apply it to another photo in lightroom cloud, the first image (where the preset was saved on) is overlayed ontop of the second..

Hi there. Can you provide additional info, including your computer specs, GPU, and the version of Lightroom that you're using? Is this occurring with every preset that you save from the Recommended/Community tab? Also, can you confirm that you've got the latest GPU drivers installed? Also, does it occur if you turn off GPU acceleration (refer to the following screenshot)?

Hello,

Win 11

Radeon 6800xt

32gb ddr5

i9 11900k

it is happening with most of the presets saved but not all of them. It doesnt always happen regardless of if its raw, or jpg, or if i rename the preset when i save it

Thanks for the quick reply!

So to confirm the workflow:

  • You load one of your photos in Detail view
  • You open the Presets browser and click on Recommended
  • You apply a community preset to your photo
  • If you like it, you save it to the "Yours" tab
  • You then load another image in Detail view
  • You click on the "Yours" tab and apply the preset that you just saved
  • Your original image appears overlaid as a partial transparency atop your current image

Do I have that laid out correctly?
