Photomerge question

I have many single images that I would like to piece together. In the past I have used Lightroom but for some reason this is not working for me anymore. Has something changed? If not I might be doing something worng but can not figure out what. Any help is great.

"piece together" How?  A collage? A Contact Sheet? HDR or Panorama? In Folders? In Albums?

"In the past I have used Lightroom"  Which Version Number? Do you have a subscription?

Explain in detail " not working".

Also Post you System details.

I have atempted this with both HDR & Pano. I took from photos which I have moved to LR and I have a subscription so which allows me to update regularly. I begin the process and then get a message that it is unable to complete it.

What kind of photos are these? Are they true panorama or HDR brackets? You cannot 'piece together' random images with Photomerge. The images need be be a true panorama series or a true HDR series.
