Question

Photos added automatically WITHOUT auto add

The Lightroom app on both my iPhone and iPad is automatically adding hundreds of photos to an album even though I have "auto add" turned off. It's turned off on both my phone and my iPad.

I have manually removed all the photos that didn't belong from the album only to have the app automatically add them again. I'd appreciate any help you could offer.

There are two places where you can select 'Auto Add', so maybe only one is turned off. One option is in App Settings, but another one is for a single album. Click on the three dots behind the album name in the albums list.

Thank you so much for responding. I checked the single album where this problem is happening by clicking on the three dots, and “Auto Add” is turned off there as well—both phone and iPad. I’m really going crazy with this problem.
