Photos appear in black when I open the Lightroom 4.1

Question

When I open the LR the photos are all black and don't open, I can't edit. What can I do? You will not have the latest update (4.1).
I cannot update because my Windows does not update to a version compatible with Lr.

Hi there,

Sorry that you're getting a black screen in Lightroom Desktop 4.1.

You can resolve this issue by signing out and then signing in again.

From the menu bar, choose Help > Sign Out.
Lightroom will now restart.
Sign in with your Adobe ID again when prompted.

If that does not help, would you mind deselecting the option "Use Graphics Processor" located in Lightroom's Preferences > Performance menu, then relaunch the app and let us know if it helps?
