Question

Photos are not uploading to the cloud

Photos are not uploading to the cloud. I'm traveling and am continually uploading my photos to the Lightroom Cloud. Afterwards I delete them from my gallery so my phone's storage doesn't explode. The problem is that the photos are not syncing to the cloud and the app keeps synchronizing without result even if there's good WiFi. Now, I'm afraid that I will loose all of my photos. Although I can still export them back to my phone ... Because the photos are not synchronized in the cloud the Lightroom app also seems to take huuge capacity on my phone. I can't find a solution, can someone help?

Turn off any other sync services you have on your phone, like google photos. They may be competing with each other. Also, I had issues with syncing last time I traveled too. Some hotel WiFi sets limits on data transfer.

Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

What device are you working on? In Lightroom, have you enabled syncing over mobile data?

Before you make any changes, log on to Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) & cross-check images that have successfully uploaded to the cloud.

You're traveling, and you might use public/open wifi networks that might have trouble connecting to Lightroom servers.

When you connect to a new wifi network, log on to Lightroom Web & make a small change to existing images & check if that syncs down to Lightroom mobile; if this works, Lightroom should be able to sync & upload images to Lightroom Cloud.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
