Photos erased when app redownloaded

Hi! My iPhone was replaced today and none of my apps transferred over, including Lightroom. The guy at the Apple store suggested redownloading them all. I redownloaded Lightroom and signed in (expecting to see my photos) but none of them were there. also the ones that i saved in my Photo Album on my phone were gone. That's thousands of photos I spent time editing that have been deleted. does anyone know what happened? Or if I will be able to get them back? They're from my daughters first year 😭

If you don’t have a premium subscription and we’re using a trial/free app then your only chance may be if you had a recent iTunes/iCloud backup, then you could try restoring the whole phone from there?

Did you have a paid premium Lightroom or Creative Cloud account? If so all of your photos should be in the cloud, assuming your phone connected to wifi on occasion to upload the images. If you log into the same account with the new phone, you should see your images.

Images in the Photos app would sync to the Apple iCloud, if you had set it up that way. Logging into the same iCloud account on a new phone would recover all of your images. Apple iCloud and Adobe Lightroom Cloud are two different services.
