Photos in the edit view are darker and more contrasty than the export photos

I really have been having a headache trying to figure out why my photos are super dark and heavily contrasted when looking at them in edit view, but when I go to export them in whatever format its basically the opposite. Its almost like lightroom is applying a preset to my photos in view mode, then removing them at export. 

I've tried reinstalling drivers, disabling gpu acceleration, reinstalling lightroom, reverting to old versions, using lightroom classic.
