Photos not uploading to Lr

I am a Nikon user and none of my .NEF files are uploading to Lr (works fine on LrC)...

The error message reads "Some photos were not added. Unable to create directory. The file "_____" couldn't be saved in the folder "2021."

I checked my Catalog and it appears to still be intact. I can't think of any other reason why this would be happening...  I did upgrade the Mac iOS to Monterey a few days ago but this issue happened even before that. I'm running Lr5 for reference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
