Photos vanished from Lightroom out of the blue!

Long story short:

 

After importing & editing photos, I let Lightroom sync overnight (crappy upload speed). This morning, only 17 out of 25 photos where synced. The rest? Gone. Vanished. As if they never existed.

 

How can this be?

    That does not sound like a typical experience, could you please check here and let us know if you can find those images? https://lightroom.adobe.com/libraries

    Also, are you able to find those images if you search for them by their file names in Lightroom?
