Pictures won't show up on Android version of Lightroom CC

Lightroom CC has been working relatively well for some months now on my Motorola phone.  Recently (the past 2-3 weeks), the pictures refuse to show up.  I get the gray background separated into the shapes of the pictures as it has always done right before the pictures themselves load up, but the pictures never come.  On the home screen, I can click the little cloud, and it tells me it's synced and backed up.  I can perform a search for a keyword, and it will bring up the correct number of gray boxes, but they never get filled in with pictures. 

Lightroom CC works fine on my Surface and desktop, also the online version.  Just the phone isn't loading pictures.  Suggestions?
