Please Can I have some help with Lightroom not Lightroom Classic

Morning please may anyone help me, I have a Macbook with Adobe Lightroom not Lightroom Classic. I cannot find where to import my photos at all there is no import photos album, so I then went to the help section and it mentioned importing it into the cloud . Now when I go to the log in page to download the app for the cloud on Safari it keeps taking me to a Chinese Adobe webpage not in english then it says "it looks like you are in Africa go to that website" which I then press okay but all it does is re load the previous Chinese Adobe and I go through the same process.

Please see attached error message. Please Help!

Thank you @Noel Orridge for your reply . It is super frustrating. Unfornately trying all your advice it has not worked. I am still getting the same page and it still will not let me change my country/ area. I am using Mac Os 15.6.1

Hi @Naz85! Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Lightroom Community! I can totally understand that it can be frustrating when the application behaves this way. Let's get this sorted out for you!

Could you please share the version of Lightroom and the version of your Operating System? This would help us dig deeper.

In the meantime, you can try these fixes, see if they work:

1) Instead of letting it redirect you, try manually going to the main US/Global English Adobe site. This often bypasses the location detection loop. Click this link: https://adobe.ly/46RpsQO

2) Turn off any VPN: Using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) can make websites think you are in a different country. You can disconnect from your VPN and try accessing the Adobe site again.

3) Clear Your Browser's Cookies and website data: Please refer to this page for steps and more info: Clear cookies in Safari on Mac - Apple Support (IN)

4) If the above steps don't work, please try changing your browser.

The cloud-based Lightroom has a much simpler interface than Lightroom Classic, which allows you to add photos directly to your cloud library.

1) In the top-left corner, you will see a blue button with a plus sign (+). This is the "Add Photos" button (refer to the attached image).

2) If this option is not visible, I suggest you reset your preferences: To reset preferences, hold down Opt-Shift as you start Lightroom. You'll get a dialog box to reset. This will set all Lightroom preferences settings back to their defaults.
