Presets Not Appearing When Certain Photo Selected

Hello everyone,

I recently created some of my own presets in Lightroom and for some reason one of my preset folders does not appear when I have certain folders selected. I have uploaded some photos from my camera SD card and they are in RAW while I have uploaded other phone photos (through the mobile app) that are in JPG. When I click on the mobile uploaded JPG files the folder does not appear (and this is when I'm using the desktop Lightroom), but yet the other folds of presets I have created do appear. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Thank you!

You haven't been very specific about your presets. But if the presets were created for raw files then it's possible that they are specific for raw only and will not be available for JPEG images.

What kinds of specifics are you looking for? I did edits on my RAW images and then just did Develop New Preset.

    Thank you!

Did Jim's answer solve your issue?

If not, there are lots of buttons to check or turn off in the Develop New Preset dialog box. The more info you can provide about that, the more easily people can answer your question.

In particular, if you had the Treatment & Profile box checked, that could mean that the preset wouldn't be available for JPGs because using the Profile preset assumes the file is raw.
