presets on desktop that use features not available on mobile

If I create a preset on Lr Desktop with something like, say, ‘refine saturation’ in the curves tool, and I want apply that to an image when using Lr Mobile (iPad) which doesn’t have that specific feature, will that edit be applied properly?  The flow would look something like:

1. create preset on my desktop that utilizes refine saturation, the preset syncs to the cloud
2. months later I’m traveling with only my ipad
   1. I load images to Lr on my ipad
   2. Open an image and apply the preset
