Question

Prevent deleted/culled Photos in Lightroom (IPAD) from being uploaded

Hi,

normally i use LR Classic, but now during summer vacation i am using my ipad pro for culling and editing my photos.

Works quite ok after some time... BUT...yeah, there is a big but:

Adobe seems to assume we have very good internet ALL AROUND THE GLOBE... but i am in a country atm where i have real crappy internet.

So i want to import my photos to my ipad... then cull all the good stuff... and upload only the small amount of pictures i have selected.

But after culling i mark all "rejected photos" and delete them. It tells me they are still available for recovering the next 60 days.

BUT: the are still being uploaded! nothing i did helped my. i culled down from 200 to 30 Photos...still: 200 photos will by synced. even after stop/start of the sync process.

Any ideas how to fix this ? this is REALLY annoying for me and it breaks the whole experience.

The items you have culled and delete are moved to that "Deleted" album, which is an album that still syncs to cloud storage.

If you are truly OK purging those images instead of syncing them, just go into the "Deleted" album and tap on the 3-dots menu at the top right and choose "Permanently Delete All"
