Previous edits on Lightroom now not viewable unless in gallery view

Hi all

Has anyone had trouble with their lightroom where previously edited photos are now reverted back to their original when viewing them? but when you view the photos in gallery view they still looked edited.. Any help would be great!

Which version of the application are you using? What is the file format of the files? The images that you see in your gallery are they exported? Did you try re-installing the application?
