Problem importing photos from Whatsapp

Importing photos from WhatsApp into Lightroom Classic is not working. It used to work well before. I'm using Samsung A52a. Have there been any updates to Adobe (Bridge, LR, PS) that could be causing the issue with transferring photos from WhatsApp to Lightroom not working anymore?

A new Lightroom installation seemed to fix the problem.
