problem update to lighroom

I try to update to the latest verion of lighroom but when i do creative cloud desktop says i have verion 5,0 but when running LR its only Lightroom version: 4.4 WAS x64 [ 20210805-0652-b84a95f ] (Aug 5 2021)
NGL V , When i try to download I been directed to Creative cloud and there i stops . any ideas ?
