Problem witg my Lightroom and Hard Drive Data Reading

Hi, I am using lightroom and have stored my data in diffrent hard drives. But sometimes it mismatches the data reading. For example it reads the data of one hard drive, shows the name correct but inside the files are of the other drive, then I have to locate the files manually, it works but is painful as this has happened for second time?
