Problem with app on Ios

Hello, since yesterday I’ve been having a problem with the Adobe Lightroom app on iOS. When I choose a photo from my gallery to edit and tap Actions, it keeps showing “Analyzing” and just keeps spinning, but it never loads the photo.

The more times I try, all of the photos stay in the cloud as “Pending,” and I’m not able to edit anything.

I already tried reinstalling the app, but it still doesn’t work.

Thank you in advance!

    Hello!

I'm sorry to see that your workflow is being held up by the 'Analyzing' loop. Since you've already tried reinstalling the app without success, the issue is likely not with the app's local files, but rather a Sync Deadlock or a Network Protocol issue preventing the AI engine from communicating with the Adobe cloud.

Here are the specific steps to resolve this:

    1. Check Cloud Storage Status: Even if you have space, a 'Pending' status on multiple photos can clog the queue. Tap the Cloud Icon at the top right. If you see a long list of 'Pending' or 'Syncing' items, pause the sync, wait 10 seconds, and resume it. The 'Actions' feature requires the photo to be fully synced (or at least its smart preview) before it can analyze.
    2. Toggle "Use GPU for Editing": Go to App Settings (Gear icon) > Adobe Lightroom > Technology Previews (or 'Performance' depending on your iOS version). If available, try toggling 'Use GPU' off. Sometimes the AI analysis fails during the hardware handoff on certain iOS builds.
    3. Network/DNS Flush: AI tools are sensitive to regional routing. Try switching from Wi-Fi to Cellular (or vice versa). If you are using a VPN or an Ad-blocker (like AdGuard) on your iPhone, disable it temporarily, as these often block the specific sub-domains Adobe uses for AI analysis.
    4. Clear Local Cache: In Lightroom, go to Settings > Local Storage > Clear Cache. This won't delete your photos but will force the app to refresh its connection to the cloud assets.

One quick question: Are you noticing this with all file types (RAW/HEIC/JPG), or just specific ones? If your photos are stuck in 'Pending', it’s a sign that the upload queue is blocked, which is exactly why the 'Analyzing' stage can't move forward."
