Problem with sending from lightroom to camera roll

Hello!

something has changed and images do not automatically transfer from

my camera roll to my lightroom app as they used to. I have to individually select them in my camera roll and manually launch them in lightroom.

But what worries me more is the other way round:

when I try to send a photo from lightroom to my camera roll, it freezes when it used to "prepare" the image for transfer and does not allow to upload any of the edited pictures back to my camera roll for other purposes... 

I have deleted the mobile app and set it up again to see if that would help, but not such luck!

any ideas?
