Problem with syncing photos to the cloud.

Hello, I have a problem with syncing photos on my cloud account. I use the desktop app for Windows, and any edits I make are visible in the Lightroom mobile app after synchronization. However, the problem is that it doesn’t work the other way around. Changes I make on my phone aren’t visible in the desktop app after syncing. It’s quite frustrating. The issue might be related to having two licenses—one from the Apple Store and another from Adobe. But how is it possible that syncing works one way but not the other? And what can I do if I cancel the Apple Store license, even though it’s paid for several more months (if that’s the cause of the issue)?

Ritika gave some good advice to check if LR Mobile is actually syncing.

 

I'm writing now just to let you know that you don't need a separate mobile subscription.  Your desktop plan should also provide mobile access (unless you are using some Enterprise or Education plan from an organization that restricts mobile app use).  In fact, I don't know how you could have subscribed if you were signed into the same paid account you are using on your computer.

 

The fact that you were able to make a separate mobile purchase has me wondering if you are using two different accounts here.  Please try signing out and back into Lightroom using the same account email address that's shown in the LR Desktop app's Settings.  You need to be signed in with the correct paid email address on both desktop and mobile to be in the same account, for files to sync correctly!

Thank you for reaching out. Could you please log in to Lightroom Web and check if your mobile edits are visible there? Additionally, please look for a "Sync Issues" folder. If you see this folder, please back up its contents and then delete it (including from the "Deleted" folder) to clear any potential syncing conflicts.
Once you've done this, sync your edits and see if the issue is resolved. Let us know if you continue to have trouble, and we’ll be happy to assist further.
