Thanks for reporting this. From your description, it sounds like the AI-powered removal is displaying a content-related restriction while you’re editing a boudoir image that you don’t consider explicit.

We’d like to understand exactly which Lightroom feature and version is producing the message so we can investigate the behavior.

Could you please share:

• Which Lightroom app are you using: Lightroom on iPhone, iPad, Android, desktop, classic, or web?

• The exact Lightroom version.

• Which removal option are you using when this happens (for example, Generative Remove, Detect Objects, or another AI-assisted removal option)?

• A screenshot of the complete warning/error message, including the editing panel if possible.

• Whether the same message appears with other AI-powered edits on that image, or only when removing blemishes.

If you’re comfortable sharing an affected image for testing, you can send it to me privately rather than posting it publicly. Please only share an image that you’re authorized to share and are comfortable sharing.

In the meantime, you can try a temporarily tighter crop around the area you’re retouching and then run the AI removal again. You can revert the crop afterward. This will help us understand whether the image framing affects the warning.

As a workaround, you can also use Lightroom’s manual Remove/Heal tools for the blemishes instead of the AI-powered removal option. These allow you to retouch the affected areas manually while we investigate why the AI operation is being blocked.

Please don’t substantially alter or obscure the image solely to work around the warning; we’d rather understand why the original image is being flagged incorrectly.
