Problems importing photos from SD card to Lightroom mobile on my iPad

I just updated to Lightroom Mobile on my 12.9" iPad Pro running iPad OS 13.2. My problem is when I try to import photos directly off an SD card or a external drive connected via USB C I am able navigate to the directory containing the photos I want to import in Lightroom and "Select All" of the images for import to Lightroom but only six a few of the images are imported. I've tried this with different cards and drives but always only six   a few (5 – 7) photos!

 

What gives?

Hello, please update to the latest version of Lightroom Mobile 5.1 that was just released.  The team has made significant improvements that will allow you to directly import many photos from your SD card directly into Lightroom.
