Problems in importing photos to Lightroom

Dear All,

1. I have been facing issues importing photos to lightroom.

2. The error message states Error to import photos in Directory. You do not have permission to save ---- photo in the folder---.

3. I am using a Macbook air.

4. Anyone else facing such an issue.

One option may be to:

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab > Files and Folders and make sure that Lightroom has permission to access the desktop and other folders
