Problems uploading from my Nikon D850

I'm just back from an overseas trip and trying to upload photos from my D850 and Lightroom CC doesn't seem to want to upload them. I'm using a card reader and it is uploading just fine from the cards in my D750

Any thoughts --cant call customer support on the weekends

I dont get an error message the circle just keeps spinning. At first I thought they files were just large and it was taking a while but after an hour and half still spinning
