Question: Sharing photos across an organization

We are looking into solutions to organize our company's large photo collection. Ideally, we would be able to categorize or tag photos and have those attributes embedded so that when another employee accesses the same photo collection, they would be able to search based on those categories or tags. Is there a way to do this in Lightroom? Currently we are looking at other solutions that do accomplish this but it isn't ideal to spend money on yet another program to work with photos when we already have a CC subscription.

Yes, Lightroom can do this with some limitations. Most likely it is not the solution you need. First, employees will need to sign into a single account. Adobe limits two devices at a time be signed into a single account. You could work around this by using a mobile device, because there are no limits for mobile devices. This probably isn't a viable solution though.

Second, how large is your company's photo collection? You can purchase additional Cloud storage from Adobe, but I hear it is expensive relative to other services.
